Overview - Do Dham Yatra

Do Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage covering Kedarnath and Badrinath, two of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage destinations in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is beautifully situated amidst the majestic Garhwal Himalayas. Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and holds immense spiritual significance for devotees.

The journey takes pilgrims through stunning Himalayan landscapes, peaceful valleys, sacred rivers, and charming mountain towns. From undertaking the scenic trek to Kedarnath Temple to seeking blessings at the divine Badrinath Temple, every part of the journey offers a unique spiritual experience. Our Do Dham Yatra package is thoughtfully planned to provide comfortable transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, and pilgrimage assistance. Whether travelling with family, friends, or as a group, this yatra offers an unforgettable combination of faith, devotion, natural beauty, and Himalayan serenity.

Kedarnath Temple is one of the most revered Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas. Located at approximately 3,583 metres in the Garhwal Himalayas, the ancient temple is surrounded by magnificent snow-covered peaks. Thousands of devotees visit every year to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. The temple’s spiritual atmosphere, ancient architecture, and breathtaking Himalayan surroundings make it the central attraction and most important destination of the Kedarnath Yatra.

Gaurikund is the traditional starting point of the Kedarnath trek and an important pilgrimage destination in Uttarakhand. Located beside the Mandakini River, it serves as the gateway to the sacred Kedarnath Temple. Pilgrims begin their journey from Gaurikund and follow the mountain trail towards Kedarnath. The place holds religious significance and is associated with Goddess Parvati. Surrounded by beautiful Himalayan landscapes, Gaurikund provides a peaceful beginning to the sacred Kedarnath Yatra.

Bhairavnath Temple is a revered shrine located on the hills above Kedarnath. Dedicated to Lord Bhairav, a form of Lord Shiva, it holds great religious significance for pilgrims. The temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Kedarnath Valley and surrounding Himalayan mountains. Its peaceful atmosphere makes it an important spiritual stop during the Kedarnath Yatra. Visitors can enjoy the serene surroundings while seeking blessings and experiencing the divine beauty of the Himalayas.

Vasuki Tal is a beautiful high-altitude lake located near Kedarnath, surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks. The peaceful lake and scenic mountain views make it a popular attraction for trekkers and pilgrims. The journey to Vasuki Tal offers an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Himalayas away from the main pilgrimage route. Clear weather provides spectacular views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains, making Vasuki Tal a memorable part of the Kedarnath Yatra.
